A joint venture of Biddle Real Estate Ventures of New York, New York and PCD Development, LLC of Summit, New Jersey is redeveloping the former General Motors assembly plant site in Sleepy Hollow, NY into Edge-on-Hudson, a new transit-oriented community comprised of multi-family residential, retail, hospitality and office uses bounded by 13 acres of waterfront open space.  The project program includes 1,177 rental and for-sale units, over 135,000 square feet of retail and restaurants, a 140-room hotel, and 35,000 square feet of office.  New streets, sidewalks and utility infrastructure systems are being constructed on the 68-acre site, which is within walking distance of two Metro-North stations.

DTS Provident has provided planning, approvals, site engineering and landscape architectural services for the project since 2001.  The Village approval process has included an environmental impact statement, master Riverfront Development Concept Plan approval, special permit, zoning variances, multiple subdivisions, and phased site plan approvals for different portions of the site.

DTS Provident is currently processing approvals for the third phase of infrastructure improvements for the project that will complete the street and utility network and create the balance of the future development blocks.  It is also providing construction period services for Toll Brothers, which is building townhomes, three apartment buildings and three residential condominium buildings that comprise Phase 1 of EOH.  For more on Edge-on-Hudson, click here.

Our integrated, strategic approach to project planning and implementation balances the concerns of the land owner, the community, and the environment with the specific characteristics of the site, enabling us to create intelligent land use solutions.
